Sometimes it’s just knowing what sliders to move, and what can be saved. I know if I have to fiddle with a photo too much, it’s probably not going to work out. The content has to really be worth it, I guess. It’s so much nicer when they turn out right in-camera in the first place!I took this pic when I 1st bought my 1st dslr style camera (mirrorless) earlier this year... after my first time out with this camera, I looked at the pics I took that day... moved them in a folder and forgot about them. I was very discouraged... and thought I invested way too much in something I can do better on a camera phone. I still feel the same way today. Anyhow... I looked a pics again a few days ago, and worked on one of the pics in Lightroom and Photoshop.
If anyone wants to see original... here is the link. I see a a lot of great photos here... but, I feel I spend way too much time on post edits to feel a little better about my pics. Am I the only one that feels this way?

Hi oblomow:What kind of bird is it?
@oblomow - It's known as a Mockingbird here. They're a bit aggressive and territorial.
