Hoping no one notices as quietly escaping the Thanksgiving table.
Getting some much needed sunshine....
Superb. But what’s that strange yellow thing in the sky? I’m unfamiliar with its presence!

Downtown Los Angeles on a semi-clear day. We had our first rain in months two days ago. A week ago the Valley and parts of Malibu were on fire.
Sometimes, not often, but sometimes, I too go outside. Still take the same sort of photos...but hey.

The yellow thing is a recent discovery. It is a G-type main-sequence star that comprises about 99.86% of the mass of the Solar System. Sometimes it is visible with the naked eye during the day.
It's mainly visible in the southern sky. But if the continent is isolated again, you can try your luck in southern Portugal. It's a quite famous destination for scholars and explorers that want to see it with their own eyes.
True, but more important was a canal to keep the wild boar from "greeting" me.
