At the risk of "going there," I think this situation has upended humanity in incalculable ways. I would venture that many people are beyond stressed, isolated, and lost, and it affects our ability to think. When we view every single soul on earth as a possible enemy for carrying a contagious disease, it's no wonder. I'm not intending to be inflammatory, but we've traded our mental health for our physical health, and no amount of phone calls and video chats can replace face to face contact or the deep value of the actual human embrace. The whole idea of a handshake is believed to have its origins in saying "I'm unarmed and of no threat to you," and we don't even do that anymore. Now we have to gesture our goodwill toward others by staying far way from them and hiding our faces. When I was at the zoo earlier this week, I saw how some treated me and my family like a danger for just existing in a public space close to them. How do you measure that?

This pandemic reminds me of the early days of HIV. People were terrified of - kissing, mosquitoes . . . We got through that, we can make it. IMO - follow precautions.

I recently learned that the H1N1 flu is a variant of the 1918 pandemic.

Wrong Direction. One of the more vexing aspects of the pandemic emergency is the huge number, perhaps a majority, of people who seem to lack the mental capacity to follow an arrow. Especially in a crowded shopping mall. I have no idea whether this is resistance or indifference. Taken while mucking about with getting more of a pushed film look while using the Classic Chrome film simulation.

Could simply be someone who normally drives on the right side of the street. Given the deserted surroundings certainly not something I would find in the least upsetting.

As to following foot path arrows and panicdemics; If you obey logic then going against the grain will result in much shorter periods of casual contact and thereby lower your risk of either transmitting or receiving the virus.

Remember if you are following someone, you are continually walking into the breath he has expelled sideways and upwards, past the edges of his mask.

Was floating on the lake and attempting to pan with the train, so both train and I were in motion. Probably some water spots on the lens as well. Hence an even softer image than my little WP Fuji normally delivers. Need to view full size for even the train to seem reasonably sharp.

X100t f2.0 125 ISO1000 - Visited Natural Grocers in the evening. The store has large lighted signage on the exterior. I spotted this signage all lit up with a flood lighting it from over head - it read, Naturally Raised Meats -- I saw this and took the shot

Imperial War Museum North, snapped from Media City Footbridge using my Olympus E-M1 mk II and 12-40. This was a difficult one in post - any global adjustment I did was not so good for the sky. Fortunately, Photoshop's Sky Selection (off the selection menu) made for an easy selection (and conversion to layer for separate treatment).
