A gorgeous 1954 Buick Roadmaster I saw for sale in Manitou Springs, CO. I was tempted but having to build a garage to house it, plus getting it across the border into Canada pretty much scotched the idea. The woman had bought it in the late 60s and used it as a work car for many years. It was then garaged for awhile until her husband restored it, dropping in a big block Chevy engine.

Nice. I've been there three times and never walked away with a decent photo. To be fair to the photographer is was overcast one occasion and raining the other two!
I can see where would have difficulty, even with good lighting. May post it tomorrow, but swing camera to right for the lava beach and point creating the bay was directly into the sun at the point with reflective waters. However, it lit the background well on this photo, where a different sun angle would have created shadows.

Lava beach. (The green water pond from yesterday's photo just out of this photos framing). This shows the full side of a volcanic crater that the sea eroded away to the inner core.

Very cute creature. While hard to catch, once I tried to play with with one as a kid until it tried to bite my fingers. It didn't harm me, of course, but from that moment on I kept my distance
