I was idly pointing my Bigma at the bird feeder this dull and grey morning, and suddenly a robin landed in the viewfinder.
Well, I had to oblige, and got one shot before it flitted away...

In Northern New Mexico they bale Rocks instead of hay.
I always try to figure out what your close up shots are. Impressive as always.
This one was another experiment with bubblewrap...... Played around with the light coming in from the window and somehow this "just happened."

That's a pretty cool fencepost idea, really. It will never rot like a wood post would, though the traditional t-post seems like it would be cheaper/easier!
Yeah it is quite ingenious, and even breathes a bit of interest into an otherwise boring landsape. Solid enough to stretch the wire really tight and greatly extend the distance between posts.
Western US and Canada we typically see wood posts. Regardless looking at the quantity of rock they were able to gather, it's quite possible that driving traditional posts to a sufficient depth would have been very difficult.
No idea what this thing is ( except for being a bird) , but it was cooperative , so I'll give it its' 15 minutes of fame...
