I’m so glad book stores still exist. One of my favorite things is reading a book in a bookstore, with a nice cup of coffee or tea. Since I’m inundated all day everyday with medicine and health science, my favorite topics are philosophy and spirituality. This is at the Barnes and Noble shot on my phone.

Did I say there was no scale? This is The Organ, which faces the Tower of Babel across this flat plain. The Organ is 700 feet tall, more than twice as tall as the Tower of Babel.
As for scale, look really closely at the base of the tower. Do you see that tiny white speck? That’s my daughter. Look closely, she’s waving!
(This isn’t my best photo of The Organ; I took one right at sunrise. I just love seeing my teeny tiny daughter in this photo.)

LOL I had not even noticed am sharing some cool Florida images taken in June liked the sunset on pier fishing area south of Tampa with the white herons that were all over the bridge. That was good flare makes photo even better

Something is afoot at the CircleK.
I love talking to strangers on the street and making portraits. And this is one of my favorite street portraits. That's Ali. He's a newspaper vendor in San Francisco selling Chronicles on a busy corner in the city. I hit him up for a few minutes of conversation and then a portrait, which he enthusiastically obliged.
