This was taken at the Pueblo Bonito Ruins at Chaco Canyon, NM. It's really a neat place, I just wish I had spent more time there.

Gives a better comparison of the size difference between my bro and the kite for the last pic I posted. Fun to watch him fly around with this thing.

This guy was walking around the park screaming and bothering people to the point where someone called the police. The NYPD zoomed into the park and took him into their custody. About a half hour later, they released him and he fell asleep on the grass.

I always enjoy your pictures. Can you put up EXIF data, if you don't mind? I'm curious about your process. How much post-editing do you do?

I would put up the exif but I didn't write it down. I can give you the information I can remember though.

Camera - Hasselblad 500C/M
Lens - Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm f/2.8
Film - Fujichrome Provia 400X Pushed 2 Stops
Aperture - 2.8
Shutter speed - around 1/125 (I think, either that or 1/60)

What you see here is pretty much what came out of the film (apart from the slight purple cast which my scanner made a little heavier than on the film) The processing is mainly just rotating/cropping if I don't like the way it sits or use the clone tool to remove dust spots that the scanner doesn't get rid of.

Occasionally if the shot is pretty bland I'll boost either the shadows or highlights depending what detail I want and adjust the white balance if it looks really wrong. :)

I really am enjoying your landscapes, Doylem.

I don't know what it is about them, they have a different sort of quality about them. It has to do with the colours and er, smoothness…is that just the way your location appears or is there a trick?
They are very good.

During our time in Paris this past spring, I would always get up as early as possible and walk around to catch the wonderful morning light. I stumbled upon this on one of these walks.

EDIT: Wow, this looks underexposed here! On my monitor at home and on SmugMug, it looks much brighter.
