Pocket full of daisies...

I'm not really a flower photographer... and there's a reason for that - I don't really do it very well. Still, I kind of liked this in a dreamy kinda way...

Some of you might've seen this one before, but I reprocessed it and cleaned up the panorama seams a bit (and used converted RAWs for photos instead of the jpegs, heh).

Something a little different today! Click for larger

Just found out that the tilt-shift series I made of Washington DC earlier in the year is being displayed in 2010 at a major high end hotel chain in DC. This is one of the images that will be there...

Not my favorite, but it's their choice!

Shot with a Canon 5D mkII and a 45mm TS-E F/2.8

I had the 24TS on my 20D when I was in DC earlier in the year, I wish I would have had more time to shoot, the place would be amazing with a TS! Congrats on the display, can you say the chain?

A lil HDR

Storm passed over today I headed up the Canyon to get some leaves but they had all fallen off, but I did manage to stop and get some mean clouds.

Gotta agree with the prior two posts - super image. The clouds look like they're moving and the tone mapping is tastefully done. Love this one!

This flower photo really stands out to me, Just perfect :D
May I have a higher-res version to add to my scrapbook of inspiration please?

You can take as many photos a day as you like. Cull through them AND THEN post the ONE that means the most to you. Easy peasy.

BTW, like this one.

I just mean its hard to find the time and a subject every day.

ahhh cant be that hard lol :p

It's finding the time and subjects every day but I will try.
Cheers! using RAW has its advantages of being able to polish an average photo up a bit better :)

This is bloody brilliant!
I'd also like a hi-res version of this if possible? Perfect example of HDR imagery.

And my submission for today :)

Its the - blurred wheels, the perfectly in focus car and the blurred background - how on earth do you get all that so perfect? :D if you could let me know would be great thanks. :)

Good lord man, what lens are you using for that? 55mm, quite close focusing distance by the looks of it!

I was going for the not overdone look. What do you reckon?
C&C appreciated.

I think you're on to something... it basically looks really good. Just watch the color saturation in the shadows - you don't want more there than in the mid-range or lit up areas.

Using the kits lens, the only other one I have is a 100-300mm zoom which doubles as a macro with an attachment (20 years old, from my dads old kit ;) )

Quasi tilt-shift. Yes it's a gimmicky shot, but I think it's sometimes fun to play in post (especially when all the processing was done on my iPhone).
