Quasi tilt-shift. Yes it's a gimmicky shot, but I think it's sometimes fun to play in post (especially when all the processing was done on my iPhone).

Does this mean you'll be coming round to my shack with a bowl of chicken soup and a hot blackcurrent drink? No, I didn't think so...

Using the kits lens, the only other one I have is a 100-300mm zoom which doubles as a macro with an attachment (20 years old, from my dads old kit )
ah right, the 18-55?
Not my photo, but I always wanted to share this. My mother (third from the left) with her hotel cronies in the '50s.

Some side street off 5th av . in the 20's .
What did you use to scan - nice.
1920's? Those buildings in the back don't look like they're from the 20's...
Minor misunderstanding .... I meant the 20's as in 21st ST.,22nd St. @c . Maybe referring to locations as being in the 20's , 30's and so forth is a NYC colloquialism . Anyway , what struck me about this was the contrast of the relatively new building in the back with the (probably '20s , maybe earlier)
stuff in the front . Wonder if the TV antennas are still hooked up?
