Unfortunately we got killed, and the QB pictured potentially broke a leg or tore an ACL :( but at least I got to try and tilt shift a photograph.

Great photo, love this affect, is this like toy camera affect?

I'm not familiar with the toy camera effect. But I'm guessing they are probably similar. This was processed in CS5 using a mask to apply a lens blur to the non focus of the photo + adding saturation to create a model/toy affect. Not the best photo to see the effects, google tilt shift, you'll see some pretty awesome stuff.

I participated in the World Wide Photowalk yesterday. We congregated at Little Five Points in Atlanta. This area is a trendy, eclectic spot in town. It is very target rich with lots of color and character. I had to force myself to take non-people shots sometimes because the people were so interesting. I'll share one of the people shots today.

This is "Evanjahlist". He was a popular model for the photo group, and he got a lot of donations from us.

High tide last Thursday backed up the creek... but then a 19 foot high tide will do that!
This is a two shot panoramic shot. My my flicker page has a several wider versions from different locations on the creekand down into Thomas Basin.
Glad the tide did not coincide with one of this fall's rain storms.... five inches of rain in a one 24 hour mixed with this tide, or the one we will have on the 25th of November, 19.5 foot spell very wet feet on Creek Street.

Same spot more or less at low a low tide...
