Here's a B&W treatment of a post from last month especially for Ish.

Here's another shot from the Dolomites, one I took in 2014. You can click on it to read more about it.
Also, I have something to celebrate today...I've just joined Photo Cascadia as a full team member! If you haven't already heard the news, you can read the press release HERE.
Ha ha ha.... there are a few people on here (you specifically included) who are improving massively, they take awesome shots and yet they cannot see it!
Your images are fantastic!
Very flattering but I think I have some way to go yet.
So .... sometimes things don't work out as planned . A few weeks back ; after an enjoyable lunch nearby , we decided to come down here and walk around . Took a few pictures , one of which was a daytime version of the one below . It was suggested that "this would look great when the lights are on at sunset" . So I finally got down there yesterday , got set up , and waited for the 'purple hour' , which duly came . But no lights . Everything else in the park was lit save here ! Turns out the wiring was fried during Sandy , and hasn't been repaired since . Oh , well ..... took the shot and moved on .

Thanks ..... it looks a lot better on a big screen than on my laptop . Now I've just got to wait for the lights to get fixed . Hopefully in my lifetime .....Sometimes you just can't win! It's got potential though, third time lucky!
Ha ha ha... "Something negative"Just catching up with the thread. Thank you ASM, I'm honoured! It makes a beautiful b&w, and it would appear a lot of people agree!
Well done P, that's great news! And what a wonderful, ethereal view to share with the news. Very happy for you, though well deserved.
Ha!!!! Pan calling kettle! That's just what I said to you the other day. You've put some great photos on here recently!
And don't you DARE respond with something negative!
Gorgeous lighting, lovely smile from your model. Beautiful
Very nice. I take it your stood in the water getting cold feet?
Don't know how you do it - repeatedly!
Cheers AFB. Wellies and thick socks work wonders (for this sort of location). Only 8" deep or so, not much water flow after a couple of relatively dry weeks here.Very nice. I take it your stood in the water getting cold feet?
Thanks E3BK - 5 second exposure at f14, iso100 with polarising filter.Beautiful. What was the shutter speed on this?
Thanks Ken, I do what I can.Gorgeous lighting, lovely smile from your model. Beautiful
Do what...Surprise you? Post portraits?Don't know how you do it - repeatedly!
It is quite impressive that this looks like it was a day time exposure. Really quite beautiful.
Experimenting with portraits. Kids wouldn't cooperate so the cat will have to do.
