Thanks. Yeah, I knew I was pushing it a bit with the under exposure. But when it comes to sunsets and fall foliage I just can't help myself from going to extremes.
I am starting to learn to do things like that too, the get the colours to shine, sometimes a little under exposure brings them out beautifully

Well at least he posed for you. I was asked t get some shots of my dads dog the other month, and he would not play ball. Mrs MacRy was off camera right with a fistful of treats. Fortunately he's greedy enough to bribe into submission usually.

I've set myself a challenge to use the 85mm f.1.2L wide open as often as I can for portraits. If you haven't used this lens before, lets just say it's a tricky (not so) little beast.
Here's the missus getting annoyed at me pointing my lens at her.
