That's the one. Liverpool and its docks are in the background on the other side of the Mersey. This shot was taken from New Brighton at the top end of the Wirral peninsula.

Charles, there's something pretty funky going on with your horizon line there!

It must be a over correction for lightroom, It was shot with a 18mm lens, usually lightroom does a good job correcting it

Yes, I took these on Saturday. Not a nice day. Watched rugby on TV in the afternoon...

Lol... I was in Wales the weekend before climbing snowdon.

Another one from the Skulptur Projekte: this guy was part of a larger ensemble that actually was a fountain. The statues had water coming out at the weirdest places.

My city had the "bright idea" to turn our century-old train terminal into a convention center. At least they didn't demolish it. I love this period in US construction.

If you take pictures on Sony cameras - is there a big difference for IQ with this ”X files” setting when compared to the Fine in jpeg?
It produces quite huge filesizes for a jpeg.
