Green with envy! Great shot.
Thank you, Apple fanboy and keyrex.

In reality it's not very difficult to capture the Auroras. But one has to be lucky to be out there at the right time, and I almost missed them that night :)

Anyway, for those who want to know:
-Canon 5DII on a tripod, and a Tokina 16-24mm f/2.8 lens (focus on manual to infinite)
-ISO 800
-10-second exposure
-Since I don't want to blow the highlights, my photos are slightly underexposed, then corrected for exposure on CS6. Also, use NIK's Pro Contrast to end the editing.

Hmm... maybe a good thing... not mushroom for many more....
[doublepost=1507996212][/doublepost]Saw a lovely art display today at house for an Art Lover in Glasgow. Called Undulating. Made of a lot of industrial mop heads.

I tried to work out which bit was the front but suspect I was being teased...

Fantastic - you should put this in the current competition. No, wait...

Some teensie-weensie flowers for you all, I have no idea what they are. Where's @Ish when you need her botanical knowledge?

Grape hyacinths. Please stop rubbing it in that you are having spring, when us northern hemis are on our way into winter :D

Cheers :)
