Really?? I have never heard the term marmot for these creatures in all of my 44 years. I thought they were completely different animals. I still have a lot to learn!
[doublepost=1540249330][/doublepost]AND marmots are also a kind of Squirrel??!

Omg.

They all work together as a family to destroy your property. Deer and moles have to be the in-laws or something.

We’ve had no trouble from the marmots (knock on wood). We used to think the deer were cute until they rutted and ruined one of our Swedish Aspens. Now they’re pests. There’s about 100 living in town.

After an epic hike filled with storm, snow and exhaustion, we managed to reach the highest peak of the Netherlands. Months of planning made this expedition a succes.

(for those who are wondering: there is a comma: 322,5 metres...)

San Diego
Taken 11 years ago. The San Diego Wildfires of 2007 hit our local mountains in our neighborhood on Oct 23rd. Timely pic of my youngest in his Fire Fighter Halloween Costume. No... I didn't let our 1 year stand out where the fires were... LOL. This was taken in day light... 4 days after the fires passed. Just made it more dramatic with Photoshop. ;)

Hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween!!!
