Another from Joshua Tree. This is…a joshua tree. Taken on my first visit to the park with my iPhone 4S.

EDIT: I considered entering this one in this week's photo contest, which theme is "sunlight filtered through trees". Literally what is happening here!

I thought about that as well, but it is my understanding that this contest is bout the light pattern on the ground. Not about ray of light er cetera

Roll _13_YashicaMat124_2022_Image_08.jpg

Another from the Yaschica Mat 124. After running two rolls through it, I contacted the camera guy and sent it back to him yesterday. He said it should definitely not flare this much and that he'd fix it right up for me. Hope it isn't gone long because I really kind of love the camera, even after just 22 and two half frames (I've not yet gotten the knack of loading it yet, so lost a half on the back of one roll and a half on the front of one roll. Hopefully third time is a charm.)

On Tri-X home developed by me in mostly expired Cinestill monobath and home scanned. Am probably going to move to real chemicals for home developing since I have to buy a new batch anyway.

Fairly new (within the last 2 years) beaverlodge on the edge of Beauvais Lake, AB. While we were hiking along the Scot's Point trail we noticed what looked like drag trails running through the grass to the lakes edge. Followed one of them inland a bit and discovered the beaver had been harvesting young aspen trees, then dragging them to the lake. Lots of Willow available but it seems that beaver much prefer young Aspen.

Beautiful! We’re headed to Colorado this week… hope to see and capture fall views like this. Not many deciduous trees in the Phoenix area … mostly palm trees and desert brush.
Thanks :)
This is another one from Pine Valley Ranch, back in Nov. 2012. Leaves turn color later here in socal at 3800 ft. elevation.
At our place in Alpine now we have mostly live oak trees that don't change color.
