Photo of the Day - October 2022

I posted this photo two weeks ago, after my wife underwent surgery to remove hardware that had been put in her leg after our car crash injuries. Today, her foot came out of the post-surgical boot and was unbandaged...and the difference is startling. She feels nothing from the accident. No poking, no prodding from the implants, no need to compensate for it...she is walking normally for literally the first time since the accident almost exactly a year ago!

Wow, that's ...quite amazing. Hope you are doing well too!

It's a wonderful area. I've climbed it 20 times, hiked the entirety of the Wonderland Trail twice and have ridden cycling races circling it a number of times. I can't get enough of it.
