wonder what this tastes like...

An interesting trick of perspective. Comments welcomed as usual.

Just wished the sky was a little more interesting in this one. Comments always appreciated.

A fun perspective. Accident or deliberate?

Yes I've seen better sky's, but I like the warmness in this shot. I think you picked a good spot to. Overall a winner.

Tonality Pro is made by the same people (before Google bought out Nik). I'll instal it at the weekend and let try it out.

Sounds good! Make sure you post back into the thread once you give it a thorough test. I would be interested to see what you think.

The glass' reflection ruins the composition, but I enjoy the texture of the lizard's skin and the pop of colors caught my eye. Photograph was taken at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Nebraska.

I love the warm feeling of this. You took the shot with some great available light. Nice.
I personally (and I stress the personal preference) would have let the group walk on a little further before taking the shot. You have a great leading line of the corn field sweeping away in to the distance, which could have worked in leading the eye around to the group, which has a few bright t-shirts to end the sweep with. Regardless of that, you've still got a nice pic.

I'm heading there for a hike in October! Be prepared for a million photos in the 'picture of the day - October' thread. You'll all be sick of the grand canyon come November :)

My first attempt at the moon, not brilliant, but I'm pleased to have not shaken in taking it.

Cheers :)

Two things

1) What kind of lizard is that? I want one! (and if I can't have one for personal ownership, I work at a zoo and maybe our zoo can get one).

2) I have a neat trick for shooting animals behind glass - I've made a fabric lens hood out of black canvas that has suction cups on the corners. You just stick the cups on the glass, poke your lens through the hole in the middle and BAM! no glare/reflections to worry about as you shoot whatever's on the other side.
