This is surreal. Almost looks like a close up of some shark skin.

Just had a crew change off the coast of Tunisia for work - that's my vessel in the background. The picture was taken on our support vessel, and the guy is waiting to receive the transfer boat that I was waiting to get when I took the picture.

Natural light. I exposed for the top of the mushroom which made the rest darker, and I added a bit of vigneting.

was kinda bored today, and wanted to do something, so I took the car and drove wherever it took me.

I drove for about 3 hours reaching into the Peloponnese, where I saw the ruins of Ancient Kalamata, in Eleohori.

Well done! The tones are nicely balanced and the image has this almost tangible crispness to it.

The top half is subtle and well executed. The legs however seem a bit heavy handed on the shadows.

Thanks folks. The next one may be a little while away, a lot of learning to get it right in post-production. It's quite intensive in that regard, but I think it will be well worth it.
