Have days where I am putting off doing things I should be doing, pull out a lens a don't use frequently, and then shoot something. Today was the 135mm. I actually love this lens, but it isn't a focal length that I've been using lately.

Took this of a chair outside. Not sure it conveys a strong visual message, but I liked the abstract element and the lines/textures.

My feeble attempt at capturing the Super Moon Eclipse tonight. Shot with a Tamron 28-300 lens at 300mm, f/6.3, o.5 sec, ISO 3200. 300mm is the longest reach I got on the full frame 5D3.

Great shot. Key is you captured that gorgeous blood red colour. Like it a lot.

I sey my alarm to get up for it at "hell-no-o'clock" but could have cried when the alarm went off. Turned over to pull myself together and err missed it...

:( so sorry. Thnx for the kid words

Fantastic skies of fire tonight followed by the perfect alignment of the moon behind the flats in the distance from my house. I was out for a walk and saw the moon framing the flats. I have never ran that fast to get home for my tripod!

It was a beautiful sky here tonight as well. However I am feeling full of cold so, the camera stayed in the bag this evening.
Nice shot btw.
