Nice nice nice nice. Excellent shot, love it. I would put that on my wall.
I agree with @Foogoofish, this is a very nice picture.
Tree Frog
Went out again yesterday with a macro set-up for tree frogs. Tried the camera focus shift again and determined (as expected) that focus stacking with a live subject outdoors with a bit of a breeze doesn't yield great results so I opted for flash instead.
Very nice. I think you must live in a zoo! I have some similar shots but mine were shot in a studio, not my back yard!Tree Frog

Fantastic image... pretty sure I am pulling that same p*ssed off, "just give me a reason to..." facial expression right now....

If @kenoh buys the gear he's got his eye on (Leica M10), his misses will murder him! Thanks Ken. Have to say that the best cure for a photography funk is to go and buy that new piece of gear you've had your eye on. Retail therapy works wonders...at least thats what the missus says every time she comes home with an armload of shopping bags.
Thanks AFB. Not quite my backyard but an hour drive away is close enough and the closest I come to living in a zoo is when the neighbours let their 6 year hellion run amok in our yard at all hours for the shear joy of terrorizing our dog.

Yes but your street photography would be so much better with an M10!Ok so a M10 and a Noctilux are your fault yeah?
Work getting me down was all...

She would murder me pre-emptively just on the basis of this conversation!
So for some reason your image isn't showing up like the rest. How did you post it?Had a play with photoshop today.
please let me know what you think any comments are much appreciated.
So I'm not overly keen on the painted effect as it's not to my taste. It seems to have introduced a lot of noise (grain) to the image.Sorry that didn't work. Try again.

[doublepost=1506718119][/doublepost]My picture wont upload. I'll keep trying.
Something a bit warmer than Llandudno. Apparently the oldest house in the US. Comments always appreciated.

Great colours for sure anotherscotsman but I'm not sure about that small sliver of background at the top of the frame. I'm wondering how this would look cropped below the top window.Something a bit warmer than Llandudno. Apparently the oldest house in the US. Comments always appreciated.

I've heard the same things said about your downstairs loo!I am binge watching Westworld at the moment so I guess that is why this series is so appealing to me right now. I do like the palette of the series though.. Beautiful captures.
[doublepost=1506764800][/doublepost]Classic horror movie picture (I think).... cue the screechy incidental violin music...
"Don't go into the basement"...... well its the downstairs loo actually but that ruins the moment...

I wasn't too happy with that sliver myself but it got Explore on Flickr anyway....Here's one where I changed the perspective a bit to make the building more square-on. Apologies to everyone for two posts today.Great colours for sure anotherscotsman but I'm not sure about that small sliver of background at the top of the frame.
