That's a lovely shot but please crop that bit of sky out of the top left as it's triggering my OCD
I've been a few times and I swear it's rained every single time!
Looks like it was about to rain!AFB-> Told you it doesn't ALWAYS rain!
This is a lovely shot, looks like an old oil painting.
Looks like it was about to rain!
Why am I not surprised! In fairness it did rain shortly afterward....no rain was forecast.
oh temp was 6C at top...(with an advisory it would feel more like 2C) not bad for the last week of August!

Wales Met. office:- Over much of Wales, the number of days with a rainfall total of 1 mm or more ('wet days') tends to follow a pattern similar to the monthly rainfall totals. In the higher parts, over 50 days is the norm in winter (December-February) and over 35 days in summer (June-August). In the driest areas of the east and south, about 40 days in winter and about 25 days in summer are typical.
So, i suppose we can't argue with you ! You're right
Or as My Fair Lady may put it...

I can imagine you'd want to keep your white dog away from puddles!Thank you!
I don't know if you noticed the star of the show, the small white dog. He was just about to step into the puddle when the lady pulled him off to one side. We had a grin at that and then they were gone.
Could you talk us through the settings on this image? It's dark, but you have deep depth of field (narrow aperture) and you're capturing the inline skater's motion (fast shutter speed), plus, noise is well contained (not a ridiculously high ISO). All of that adds up to a tricky shot!Thank you!
