British yes. Actually my car doesn’t have a handbrake. You get very used to the convenience of driving an electric handbrake car.Until they hid it on the left with the foot brake and release which was the worse design. Finally wised up and put it in the center console on the right where easier to play the clutch/brake on hill starts. That is, unless you are British driving on the wrong side of the road, where is in the center console but on the left as everything is in the wrong place. You can tell an American driving a British spec car as they are the ones with the wipers on in a roundabout rather than turn signals. (I'll have some Lotus and Morgans in the next few days.)
