Yes, the dogs usually are very happy to run. Huskies are very energetic.
Having had that coffee and realised that it is no longer August … herewith my post for today:
Yes, and something about snow just seems to bring that inner-wolf out of most dogs.
I love it! I miss so much my husky : she lived 16 years. Lot of adventures and lot of work running after her for the first 7/8 years. Huskies are like Houdini the magician : once we left her tied with a harness. Harness still closed but she was goneOne of the Yukon Quest 2016 dog teams:
Built high fences and she was digging. Put bricks all under the fence and she was climbing. She could jump 1.5 meters without run-up. A lot of other stories..❤️
Yes, Huskies can jump quite high and far. Our (wife and I's) dog is a Husky/Lab mix, and she loves to jump, something that is not good on their hips once they get older. The jumps are so afford-less and smooth...as if gliding though the air. And like you said, they are masters of scape, and very smart. Since ours is of mixed breed, she behaves more like Lab, except for loving to run and jump. A lot of Huskies have a sort of wolf-looking face (are very pretty or handsome?).

It was a pretty sad year for sunflowers in the garden, so maybe there’s something to that.
Too much photography time. Not enough gardening time for you then!
