So something really different from me. A couple of my friends just launced a collaboration course talking about shooting and editing creatively. My post yesterday of my dog was inspired by one portion about freelensing, and I did freelens that image. My other friend does a lot of concept photography where she works with quotes or feelings and makes more artsy pieces rather than strict photographs. So I decided to see what I could come up with for the concept of "bringing the outside in." I did a self portrait in my studio and then went around my house and photographed a number of different plants and layered them all around me, plus added a light and a rain overlay.

This is not something that I plan to do on a regular basis, but it was really fun to stretch my way of thinking and push myself out of my comfort zone (even it if is still with plants).

Wild poppies are very tough little plants that survive the very cold Alaska's interior winters. Last year I picked a couple of these plants from a remote parcel of land a friend on mine owns, and planted them around our house. I didn't think much of it until this summer my wife and I got a pleasant surprise to see several poppies showing their beautiful colors. Even now with temperatures in the 40's they are still blooming.

It looks very interesting!
I could probably be done for weddings and other events. By the way, some people are using "MidJourney AI" to do that kind of work since it saves a lot of time. Take a look at the art works down the page:

There is another thread on MR which discusses the fact that someone won a contest using an AI process (may have been this program) to create a digital image (it's not a photograph, it's digital art):

Yes, but one can also use one's photograph and enhance it with MidJourny AI. In this case one has to provide the internet address (URL) of the photo before continue the work with MidJurney AI. The instruction are available at the website.
