Superbly crafted! So something really different from me. A couple of my friends just launced a collaboration course talking about shooting and editing creatively. My post yesterday of my dog was inspired by one portion about freelensing, and I did freelens that image. My other friend does a lot of concept photography where she works with quotes or feelings and makes more artsy pieces rather than strict photographs. So I decided to see what I could come up with for the concept of "bringing the outside in." I did a self portrait in my studio and then went around my house and photographed a number of different plants and layered them all around me, plus added a light and a rain overlay.
This is not something that I plan to do on a regular basis, but it was really fun to stretch my way of thinking and push myself out of my comfort zone (even it if is still with plants).

Oh Great!! A treasure in more ways than one. Martin makes amazing high end string instruments.I don't play, however the ukulele belonged to my grandfather and he sent it to me years ago when I was a teenager taking ukulele lessons. It is a Martin and is in excellent condition. From information online it was made after 1916 and before 1932.
Funny clouds, I wonder what the name is for those. View attachment 2054433
Hunkered down as hurricane Kay hits southern California. 85 mph gusts and up to 3 inches of rain predicted in our area . Hoping we won't have a repeat of the flooding we had in the winter of 2017.
Creek overflows, close to going under the house.
