My brother, sister-in-law, and I went to a Farmers Market. For lunch we ate at a vegan place, my normal eats are not vegan, I had the (vegan) Orange Chicken - w/brown rice and broccoli. It was delicious. This was the lovely young lady that took our food order.

Top of South tower from my apartment through 800mm lens attached to a Petri 35mm.

This is how I remember the WTC - a place I could see every day, visited many times, and worked at for many years as an adult (on 101st fl)

9.11 was the worst day in my life, but I have moved on..that's all I want to say.

I watched all the episodes of National Geographics ā€œOne Day In Americaā€ last night. Some incredible video I have never seen before. POV of the series where stories from the survivors. A couple weeks after 9/11, I had to fly to Ft. Smith Arkansas from Roch NY, I had to fly through Newark airport. Our plane landed on a runway that was next to the Hudson River, I was seated on the river side of the plane and could clearly see the smoldering pile of debris.

One chilling interview from the series was with a military pilot who was ordered to go after the 4th airliner still in the air which they thought was headed to the pentagon too. She said it would have taken 20 minutes to arm her plane and her commanderā€™s plane. When they took off he told her he would hit the cockpit and she would have to hit the tail since they no armaments on board. Fortunately they did not find the plane since 4 brave men took out the highjackers.
