I actually made a really nice desktop picture out of it a couple of days ago. I changed the colors to more sepiaish, which works better when using the image as a background pic.

Here's the link to a 1344x1008 version. Tell me if you want a specific resolution, and I'll change it.

:)

That is so true.. The buildings look like a big field of flowers (same as those blue ones on the front).

Is that a bigger city on the horizon or just a set of tall trees?

No, there's no city, just trees!

Windowlicker, your pics are great! I'm so jealous that you live in Finland. It's such a beautiful country, I would move there in a second if I could.
So many of you live in such interesting places, and I'm stuck in the awful Arizona desert. I'll take some pics when I can so you can all feel sorry for me.

Pics of Australia..

Yo,, Here are some shots of Falls Creek in Victoria; Australia... My Family and I went dere 4 a holiday...

The link didn't work. However, if it's not too much asked, I'd like a 1280x1024 version of the picture.

Thanks!

I can tell you it's not always so nice here either. At the moment the ground is covered with ice and it's damn slippery almost everywhere. But apparently someone's thinking that's not enough so it's raining (water, not snow) too.. Also, the rained water will most likely freeze by night :p

I wish it was summer already.

Those snowy pictures were nice. That's because when I think of Australia I think of the sun, koala bears and kangaroos. I know you have snow and all, but that wouldn't be the first thing I think about anyway, so thanks for opening my eyes/mind :)

Here are some pictures of Reykjavik, Iceland. Most are not that great, though, since it's like too dark here in the wintertime. And I also don't have a tripod :-(

Come on, you can show a better picture of St. As than the public car park and the back of the bus station, although as far as car parks and bus stations go, they are fairly attractive!

I wish I had a photo of the West Sands looking back into town!

Anyway, here's a few shots of Stanley in the Falkland Islands where I found myself resident for some time last year! It may look sunny and warm, but that South Atlantic wind was a bit chilly!

Fair enough, but I was trying to show something not tourist-like. Here are some that might be more appealing...

OMG! What's the name of this place?! Seems like a place I visited twice a couple of years back when visiting Scotland. It was somewhere pretty near Edinburgh I think.. Aberdine or something like that.

It would be so funny if these photos were from there! :D

That close-up is beautiful! Thanks!

For contrast, I found this from my iPhoto library. It's from my parents' house (where I still lived when I took that picture) from summer 2003.. Taken at about 5am.
