Thanks man!

I actually work in St. Charles, but live in St. Louis County (Creve Couer to be exact) ;)

Where do you work in St. Charles? My brother-in-law lives and also works there.

Hey Deefuzz:
I bet you can appreciate this one, too. The old Sportsman's Park. Lots of memories. Stan the Man through me and my brother a ball running in from left field after batting practice. Caught a Willie Mays home run in the left field bleachers. Got an autograph from Dizzy Dean, yatta da datta da;)

Naw, your pics are too kewl. But on that old score board, the eagle used to fly around the perimiter of the Budweiser score board and squawk after a Card homerun.

Nice panorama, Oklandbum. You have a lot of patience to work with that much sky. How many separate exposures did you stitch together, and with what software?

There were 7 shots taken freehand, but it was my friend's Canon camera which can take (I think) 1 pic a second... not certain about that though. And I just used Photoshop 7 to stitch them together. Had to play with the levels and saturation a ton to get them as close as they are, though they're still not perfect. All in all not bad for my first time I'd say.

And of course, have to include a shot of our newest Apple store at the St. Louis Galleria, this was the morning of the grand opening.

Well I hope you all enjoyed those, those were all taken throughout 2004 as I said with my old Powershot...When I get the chance I will roam around the city with my new Digital Rebel and attempt to get some new and better shots!

Thanks for looking!

I havent been in the Galleria store yet, what's it like? Any bigger/better than the West County store?

I dont have any pics of St. Louis, or the little town Rolla where I go to college at. Im not much of a photographer

It is smaller than the West County store...I think the store front looks pretty cool (TWO Apple logos!).

The walls are a nice aluminum finish with little quick checkout lanes on the sides, screen embedded into the wall, when you pay with credit card you have to sign the screen on the wall, that was a little challenging.

And the ceiling glows a warm hue...it is almost theraputic.

I wouldn't say it is a better store, but it is wonderful in it's own right

I study in Manchester, England. I saw this ad today and thought I should post it here. Not the greatest photo of Manchester - there are some really cool parts, too!

My Shuffle is waiting for me on my desk at home

Here are some pics from the London Eye, taken with a Fuji point 'n shoot on a hazy day, you can see rain on the pod windows.

1. Charing Cross Station: I come through here most days, in the background it the BT tower.

2. The Eye itself in sillhouette.

3. The Houses of Parliament, with Battersea power station (for the Pink Floyd fans) in the background

4. Looking West along the Thames from the top of the Eye.

Shame it was so hazy, but the Eye is an amazing bit of engineering and well worth a visit if you're in town.
