Ah, ok, so it's Copenhagen, DK you're talking about. I thought Christiania was the old name for one of the OTHER Scandinavian capitals, possibly Oslo.

You're right Abstract, Christiania was the old name for Oslo from 1624 - 1877. I am however talking about the Free State of Christiania, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Clix, great picture. Even better when you described how you made it. Slinkies are great.

@BakedBeans; I want a little boy too, so that I can teach him about the delights of Thomas the tank engine & the fat controller.:) nice pic!

Not cropped, this is as shot but I did use Photoshop to remove some sand around his mouth - sand tastes good if you're 2 :D

^^That photo is very very soft. Is that because of the f/1.6 aperture setting leaving you a very small part of the flower in focus, or is it because you handheld it, or some editing?

Either way, I like it. :)

I don't think even I could make a photo look that soft at 1/1000 sec!

Its the lens, combined with teh 1.6 aperture.

Its one of the longer focal length ones for more working distance and more clarity. I convert these lenses to nikon mount now.

Plane coming out or into Dules?

Plane coming out of Reagan National..if you look closely enough, you can see the individual stroble flashes from the wings and underbelly. :) I was really pleased with the shot.
