Anywho, here is another one....
<bald eagle>

Arrg, nice picture. I came across this guy in January in sitting on the ice in Portland, Maine. He was having a starling for lunch and there were a few more flying to audition for desert!

I got a few closer, but I like the sky in this one.

Here is a zoom

Spring is coming…

…Well when I took this I thought it was then, in standard Massachusetts character, the temperature plummeted to -17 with windchill.

Beautiful days coming! It's getting hot at paradise beach.:)

Anybody know a good way to keep salt spray off the lens when shooting beach pics ... I wore a hole in my lens cloth yesterday and still got fuzzy pics.:eek:

this has nothing to do with pictures but why hasn't this been stickied :p

It has thousands of posts in it the last thing i'd hate to see is some spammer knocking this off the front page... Just a thought

I'm starting to forget what pictures I have posted here....forgive me if I've already posted this one!

A friend's horse on a rainy day. He walked over to investigate me, and I took a picture. This was something like the 4th picture I'd ever taken with any camera for an artistic purpose, and one of the ones that convinced me to keep up my hobby.

At 18mm close up, one expects and gets a fair amount of barrel distortion. But it can be corrected by DxO Optics Pro 4.2, which has a profile for this lens.
