I had to use max. zoom and to crop a lot on this one since the bird was so far away, maybe 500 meters. It was frog hunting in the flooded paddy.

Haha, I'm going to the Yankee game tonight, assuming the rain holds, and was hoping to get a shot just like that for fun...Great shot, I won't be able to get that nice of a shot. I noticed on your Flickr that it is a 3 shot panaroma, is that handheld?!

Yes, it was handheld. Photomerge in CS3 is pretty awesome. All I had to do was crop the jagged edges that Photomerge spat out. Just make sure that in each shot of your panorama that something from the last shot exists even if it is just on the edge of the photo, whatever program you are using to stich the photos together can recognize the similarities in the shots. I don't know if that made any sense.

Being completely honest, I too am going to the Yankee game tonight against the Diamondbacks. Haha.

Yes that makes sense, thank you. I just hope the Photomerge in CS2 with be enough. I have never used it, I used to use some Canon program that came with my printer a while back. I haven't shot a panorama in a while, so maybe I will try it tonight. Well enjoy the game, hopefully there will be no rain...

Well, ok I have to say it:

It's a good pic. However, you are not showing THE FIELD. I mean, only because I am a baseball fan, I know what is the Yankee Stadium. I hope I sound constructive with this critique.

Happy snapping!

There were a couple tall guys sitting in front of me, so it was this panorama cropped, or a few blurry heads in the foreground.

Yep, the successor to the Main Street Electrical Parade in the Magic Kingdom, it's now called SpectroMagic. :)

And to the other poster-- I don't understand what you mean.:(

Nevermind. Sometimes I just seem to post some BS :). English is not my native language so bear with me

Hmm...apparently this is the best out of the 4 I took. They're on my Flickr if anyone else wants to differ. :)

I love this pic! Nice
