I just wanted to say to all of you thanks for sharing your photographs they're truly beautiful and it's wonderful to see so many people's interpretation of the world as they see it with such artistic expression.

Any chance posting some high res versions of your recent critters photos srf4realand freebooter and of some of you photos too stcanard??
I really like them and would love to use them as desktop images if you would let me.

Thanks! My horizontal posts are usually 1000 pixels wide, big enough for desktops up 19" (or even a little bigger), I think.

For my small part, thanks. I believe that posting in this forum has improved my photography a fair bit.

Yeah i noticed, thanks for it. They look stunning. I also ended up changing them slightly to get the saturation how i like it.

First Post...Matt & Friend

I was "turned on" to this thread just recently. WOW! Great photos. Although not nearly in the same league I'll share. Perhaps this will spur me on to take more photos and get better. Here's the info for this picture...at least all the info that iPhoto will give me. Taken on the back patio....yeah, the background isn't all that swell but the subject is pretty cool...my son:). Thanks to everyone for their great pics. I hope it's not inappropriate for me to use some as wallpaper.

Wow it's been a while since my last post here. Things have been really crazy with work and everything. I had a card load of pictures I hadn't even gotten on to my computer until this afternoon. Here's one I picked up last night; no editing except for a crop. More to come as I work through what I have.
