Poor little squirrel, haha.

I'm very happy to see that someone else likes squirrels! When I lived in Massachusetts I carried walnuts in my pockets and the squirrels came to know me and would stand in my path and beg for food--very cute. Too many people I know think that squirrels are nothing more than target practice; where this animosity comes from, I can't imagine.

There's this TV show here in the UK called the "Wild Gourmet's". It's about a guy and a girl who travel around showing you that wild food and game exists easily in easily in England and how good it is, etc. Last week they hunted grey squirrels and served them as food. I'm a big time meat eater, but even I was a little disturbed by the ease in which they shot, skinned, and chopped these poor little squirrels.

Here is another fake miniature shot. This was taken in Bodie, CA, a ghost town off of Hwy 395 in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
