Judging by the f-number and an earlier post indicating receipt of a new 50mm f/1.8 lens, I'd say it was the 50mm f/1.8 lens.annk said:You take such great shots. What lens did you use?

Sometimes I take the alleys and small side streets when I ride my bike downtown, looking for interesting, old stuff...

New here, and amazed to see all the great pictures in the thread. Hesitantly, I will put in one of my own as well:
Location: Tintagel Castle, UK (supposedly King Arthur's)
Date: August 25, 2006
Shutterspeed: 1/250
Aperture: f4.5
28mm
ISO 100
A photo of my son on a cloudy day in a castle well over 1,000 years old. Photo has a little work on it to improve colors

Tintagel, yes...one of my favorite places in Canada--the Nass valley in northern B.C.--has a Tintagel Creek. It has swarms of salmon and trout, and a truly dense population of extra-large black bears and grizzlies. I spent many years fishing, picking mushrooms and planting trees there.
