Could not resit when I read its name in the menu
The name is indeed striking, but the actual label is gorgeous, reminiscent of the wonderful work of William Hogarth, or George Cruikshank or Thomas Rowlandson and their ilk.
I know — the art is beautiful! The name is indeed striking, but the actual label is gorgeous, reminiscent of the wonderful work of William Hogarth, or George Cruikshank or Thomas Rowlandson and their ilk.
What is the beer like?
Does it live up to the promise of name and label?
That sounds delicious; I must say that I am rather partial to that English dark ale style.I know — the art is beautiful!
It's a very nice English style dark ale. I really enjoyed it and even bought some at a gas station. Now I need to try to find it where I live
Me too! I wouldn't say it's my go-to, but I sure do love them. Honestly I love all types of beer, except for IPA — too hoppy and bitter for my taste. That sounds delicious; I must say that I am rather partial to that English dark ale style.

Agreed that IPA is something of an acquired taste, one I have yet to acquire fully - your description is absolutely accurate; indeed, it is a beverage I only ever (and occasionally, at that) sip, sample and savour in summer.Honestly I love all types of beer, except for IPA — too hoppy and bitter for my taste.
Yes, that says it — when nothing better is available))) I remember years ago my former boss decided to throw a beer party. And ordered 6 or 7 types... of IPA! FML)Likewise.

Usually only when I want something reasonably light, and nothing better is available.
Sounds lovely.View attachment 2239384 Supporting a small brewery out of Leavenworth, WA. Cool little German themed town in Washington state. Went there over the winter and had one of these. The other day found a 6 pack at a local beer store so couldn’t resist.
Looks absolutely lovely (I will wager that it was quite delicious) and the (matching) glass is just gorgeous.Out to lunch with my wife and mother-in-law at Cooper's Hawk and had a Cooper's Hawk Ale. Went down quite well with my lunch. Of course, there were several glasses of wine consumed as well, but I failed to snap a pic

The King’s juice.
For me it’s a close 2nd to Brewdog’s Hazy Jane Guava. That Jane G is absolutely beautiful. Goes down far, far too easily.Love that, didn't think I would, grapefruit just seemed a bit odd but it works so well.
Wow, quite potent at 8%.View attachment 2242652 A week after the game now, but this one at Coors Field in Denver was pretty legit.
I'm not American, hence, I require some assistance understanding the first half of your sentence; "smokes", I can only assume, is a barbeque, (correct me if I am wrong), but what on earth are "baby backs"?Got some babybacks on the smoke, so I got to enjoy a DIPA while out here. This one hits really nice
