Adnams Yuletide.

One of two 5 litre mini kegs I got for xmas.

Some breweries in the states have those mini kegs, but cask conditioned 5l kegs would be sweet!! I've got to make a trip to the UK.

I can't recall if I posted this one yet:

Being a Georgia boy I drink a good bit of SweetWater and Terapin, but since it's about to be Christmas time, I have been saving up for gifts by drinking this...

PBR is good beer! nought wrong with that. =)

Had my first beer experience a few weeks back and me and my friend ordered the Sampler(with six shots glasses of different beer) at Yard House, if any of you guys know that place.

I didn't really like the taste of beer. But I guess I wanted to try it again and I bought one of these a week back:

It tasted a bit watery to me. Is that how guinness normally tastes like? It tasted somewhat sweet too but still had that bitter taste at the back of my throat. I kinda liked that combination. Oh and it didn't have the nitrogen widget or anything like that. I thought it did after watching some youtube videos of it.
If I have to have it in a bottle I prefer this one:

What's the name of the first one? I can't quite make it out. I'll have to check those out next time I'm visiting my brother in DFW. :)

It's called Deep Ellum Brewing Company. They're in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas kind of near downtown. They are making some great stuff. Their head brewer was formerly at Shlafly in St.Louis. Definitely check them out when you're in town. message me on here and I can let you know which bars have them on tap.

Yummy

Just re-found this awesome thread.

Here's one from a month or two ago. I finally understand the cult-like following of the 120min IPA. So. Good.

I'll play..Yuengling is my FAV by far! Also thought i'd change it up, got some Bitburger (don't like, drank it quick just to get it out the fridge), Budweiser Select (Same as the Bitburger), BOXES upon BOXES of Corona (Damn Corona Bus stops by on base and sells them cheap, gotta stock up for parties), and some Kristallweizen...The Germans I work with also hook us up with some of their fav beer from time to time, i'll update when i get some!

Hardywood, a local brewery in Richmond, Va, makes this Belgian style Blonde Ale. Looking forward to having this in the kegerator for a while.

Pliny the Elder anyone?

Image

I didn't realize how good I had it until I moved from L.A. to TX. I miss PtE and other RR beers very much. My wife is in CA visiting family right now and I told her to bring me some fresh Pliny back.

----------

How? And what's it taste like?

Super piney, citrusy, dank IPA. It is considered to be the first "double IPA" and is constantly sought after since Russian River has a very small distribution network.

Went to a redneck bar for a bit on NYE that had PBR pints for $1.75. Really goes down smooth when it's from the tap. I still prefer Lone Star though. ;)

A friend brought me one of those back last month. Very good. Very dangerous. :D
