I'm seeing a lot of mentions of beer, but no pictures..................

This is one we just tapped last night. It's called Fruit Potion. It's a Kettle Sour conditioned on Sour Cherries, Pomegranate and Cranberries. It's deliciously tart.

Hahaha, I can't look at the photo and read the description without seriously puckering up, my jaws are actually hurting :D

Stunning picture. I am salivating openly.

Is this a beer you brewed yourself or one that has been brewed locally?

As someone who likes good fruit sour beers, this sounds delicious and I can imagine that it must be incredibly tart.

We brewed it here at the Brewery. :)

I had wondered when I saw the sour cherries, cranberries and pomegranate in the photograph.

Very mouth puckering, I should imagine, but refreshing and tart.

What is the abv?

Mikkeller have produced some stunning sour cherry beers, and excellent raspberry beers - beers that were tart but still beautifully balanced.

I been living right... :p:rolleyes:

Call me impressed.

I must see if my sources can unearth such a treasure for me....

Mind you, this time of year - as we are now approaching the Yuletide season - will see some of the classic Belgian brands putting out "Christmas Specials". St Bernardus certainly do - their Yuletide Special is a sort of enhanced Christmas " Abt 12" (an enhanced version of the Abt 12), as do the Achouffe brewery (their N'Ice beer is well worth sampling, and their labels are charming).

Can I ship beer via the post?

I have no idea.

But, surely you can ask your sources - I know some young enthusiasts who work in the off licence - whether they can source such delights and import them for you.

Two months ago, when I first came across a reference to Curmudgeon's Better Half, I wondered whether it could be sourced and idly inquired about this. My persistence was rewarded.

Speaking of Curmudgeon's Better Half, I am currently sipping a glass of this nectar.
