Man, that langster looks slick. I want one!

Thanks! I bought it off a guy for $300, cleaned it up myself then stripped it down, I got rid of a lot of the stock parts and upgraded them.

The Omnium crankset on there is overkill but its so so good ;).

At the moment I'm running it as a single speed with a front brake. I got into a wreck (car pulled out in front of me) not so long ago, and naturally that does some damage mentally. I'm moving soon though so I'll have more places to ride as a fixed gear.

not mine, but I've got a similar setup

full campy super record
reynolds assault wheels
black carbon orbea frame
ritchey stem/bars
fizik saddle

all around panty dropper

Love that Orca, are those ZG brakes, or Record? Great looking bike, and I'm sure it's fast!

Updated the bar tape to white. Should I leave it white, or go with black. Don't like red.

Also, will be buying new tires this month, keep them black, or maybe a silver gray or something. Any thoughts?

Sorry about the crappy camera phone pic...

My bike (or one just like it). Most popular bike in the world - since nearly a billion chinese have one. Weighs a ton, not very fast - but comfortable to ride and pretty damn sexy. All this for much less than a Dutch or British commuter bike.

@ Obsidian - Thanks!!

@ blackfox - What kind of bike is that? I love those, and am looking for one to use to tool around in the city and ride to work...

I like the Electra Amsterdam, but I would like some other options too.

The white looks OK, but it'd look better with a matching saddle. Keep the tires black.

It's a Flying Pigeon.

It's only about $300-$400. It is all steel, including the rims - so switch them out if you are somewhere that gets wet - as you won't stop very well otherwise. Brakes and other components on mine are upgraded from Chinese specs (they come stock with drum brakes!)

The Amsterdam is pretty cool - I looked at one before buying my Pigeon. Personally, I'd probably splurge on a real dutch bike - like a WorkCycle or Batavus, if not going bargain-hunting like I did.

 I'm super jealous of all the bikes on here! Mine is crap in comparison, but it works! It's a Raleigh Mojave 5.0. (This is not my picture)

7 year old bike. Went on my first proper ride today which was about 30 miles. Preparing for a 120 mile trial on the Pennine Bridleway.
Spent the last 2 weeks fixing and tuning it up and the ride went flawless.

Brilliant. That is such a sweet ride...

Thank you very much, it's a very nice bike to ride.

I'm 6' 4" and 225-230 lbs so I needed a bike that would fit my larger body frame. Serotta custom built this to my measurements so it's extremely comfortable to ride. Actually, it was the 7th CXII Ti off the manufacturing line so my wife dubbed it "007." It's a titanium bike (with carbon forks) and Serotta stopped manufacturing the titanium version at the end of last year because their titanium supplier didn't supply them with the proper materials that was up to Serotta standards. You can still get the CXII in steel, though.

Unfortunately my speed on the bike doesn't push this bike too much but I'm working on that so I can really make the CXII hum on a bike course.

It's all stock, but it does turn some heads thanks to the colours.

Sorry, I sized it to 604 px wide for Facebook. I'll take some better photos later. :) I rode home from the gym last night and was eager to take a photo so I just propped it against the wall.

Pop the back wheel and spin it around so you start with your right foot at the top of the rotation. But you are right! I hate starting at a hard position

Fondriest P4 Carbon, Shimano Dura Ace: used to log in about 250-300 miles per week. Haven't been able to ride like I did since moving (traffic, location).
