Heh, nice Del Sol, not my favorite of Honda's cars, but thats a surprisingly tasteful kit on it. I knew someone with a bright lime green Del Sol.. it was um, disgustingly horrible looking. But, to each his/her own I guess.

Thanks :)
There are some really nasty looking kits around for the Del Sol! This one is a bit more aggressive than I'd planned but the original subtle front lip got destroyed (it was fitted too low and got scraped and cracked really badly)

I considered buying a Del Sol before I bought my Elantra. Something prevented me from getting it, though. I think they had already sold it. I can't remember. :p

Cool cars, though.

Nice looking Cobalt! Is that an LT or LTZ? They are surprisingly nice cars for the price range. Much better than the Cavalier or Sunfire that came before it.

Thank you. It's actually an LS. It came with steel rims and hub caps but I found those rims and tires at a local garage, they came off the mechanics LT and he only wanted $300 for them so I jumped on the offer. When I got my Cobalt I actually wanted an LT but no one had one in black. The only black Cobalt I could find besides this one was an SS and they wanted waaaay too much, I was able to get mine for the MSRP so I can't complain. They are very nice cars for their price and mine so far has been very reliable. I've got 4,300 miles on it and still have 45% oil life. I highly recommend them :)

Yeah, they are nice cars. I know quite a few people that have them. One of my friends has an '06 that has like 21k on it and hasn't had any issues with it. The engines in them are very reliable from what I've seen. My friend has an '02 Cavalier LS Sport with 113k or so on it and he's hardly had any issues at all with it. I think the only issue was a bad fuel pump.

The Cobalts are FAR above the Cavalier when it comes to quality. The Cavaliers are junky on the inside. I had an '01, so I speak from experience.

The only thing I don't like about the Cobalt is that ABS isn't standard equipment. (Well, it wasn't when my friend got his '06) I think that should come standard on every car nowadays. My Elantra is an '02 and doesn't have ABS and that's my only complaint with it.

But yeah, that's a nice Cobalt. The LT wheels make it look a lot better and you got a great deal on 'em.

Never heard of Del Sol. CRX is in US, tho. :)

You're lucky you didn't post some outrageous sport/luxury car; if you had, you'd be under serious scrutiny simply for being a n00b.

Oh, get a Mac! You'll love it. :)

There are many Del Sol's in canada but while here in NM I have seen perhaps only three.

I still have the Silvia (pics on the last car picture thread), and in a few months I'll have pics of my 2008 Smart ForTwo when it arrives.

Took a lot of work to get it in that condition ad now I wish I had never sold it. :(
