Standing tall on Bilsteins. Got a 2 or 3 inch drop stirring in the pot. Pushing more than 300 ponies before the Dinan chip.

[snip x 4]

Thats really nice looking! I still like the last body of both the 3 and the 5 like you have. Anyone notice another 5 coming down a level in the parking garage in the background?
**Also how do I quote people and not include their pictures in the quote?**

I like the CSL wheels - are those replicas or do the E46 M3 CSL wheels go onto an E39?

Check my e39. IMO, one of the prettiest Beemers ever made.

Agreed, the E39 is the best 5 series body style.

They're not CSLs, that's just the photoshop. They're polished 18" style 42 reps.

Its an E36 M3 actually. The picture was at a little BMW meetup.

Is your bonnet transparent!?

Photoshop trick.

The stock 540i engine should be good for 290hp. What did you do to get 300? What you getting now with the Dinan chip?

I haven't had the Dinan chip placed yet because I'm still in discussion with my dealer over whether I can use the stage 2 software with my 3rd party cold air intake (aFe). With the chip and CAI alone its over 300 at the crank.

It's actually a 4.4 liter V8 with 311HP, not 4.3 liter with 325HP

It also doesn't pull 0-60 times anywhere close to what you quoted. It is more like 5.5 - 6+ seconds.

I don't know where you are getting your figures from...

Recently I've had a few problems with my Smart Roadster, and the one that's been plaguing me most has been a recurring fault where the Traction Control, ABS and Handbrake lights would be on the dash when I started the car.

After a bit of testing, I narrowed it down to being water ingress... somewhere, but I didn't know where. I read all the guides and eventually I realised something pretty significant - the water drainage pipe beneath the front boot area was severely twisted and had been put in that position to be held back while someone was working on the car.

This image shows how the car was when I looked at it this morning. Not knowing any better, I had previously thought that this pipe was twisted because it was some sort of air outlet. When I untwisted it a flood of water came streaming out.

According to one site, this pipe drains water away from a tray beneath the grille under the windscreen where the wipers are. If it is allowed to get full (such as by blocking this pipe) then water will begin to leak into the car and into the brake light switch and SAM :-o

My only problem now is where to put this pipe. I wonder if it should be dangling straight down as in the photo below?

I really am hoping that this will be fixed now!
