Just over two weeks old. Was finally able to afford the insurance now that I'm 26.

Wow! Freaking nice car! I'm not an import fan much at all, but I'd be lying if I said that car isn't awesome.

If you don't mind me asking, do you care to share what you do for a living?

I''m finishing up my undergraduate degree, and plan on heading into my master's here pretty soon. There's no way I could afford something like that in the next few years.

I am more interested in how much you pay for insurance and how much is it compared to a regular car, lol. As I am 18, I dream of the day of cheap insurance.

My insurance is about 4x California average which is really good considering I'm 26 and single, but I have a perfect driving record and I don't drive to much.

I'm a software engineer I got my undergrad and masters with scholarships so I had very little debt and as soon as I could afford the insurance I got it.

Ah, cool! I'm glad everything is working out for you!

I try and try and try for scholarships... probably have filled out 50 or so, and have never been awarded one. :( So, I'll be graduating with around $100K in debt.

In any case, nice car!

Damn that fiesta is sweet, I heard it will be in the US shortly

It's badass. I think it would sell well here, but it seems like I read in one of the recent issues of either Motor Trend or Car and Driver that it won't be coming. I could be wrong, though. I think it'd sell really good here. They could make a sport model with a Turbo 4 cylinder in it to compete with the VW GTI, Civic Si, Cobalt SS, etc. I think it looks better than all of those.

Here's my new ride. Traded in my 2003 Saab 9-3 that required too many trips to the repair shop.

Yeah the 2003 9-3 had gremlins. At least you got the sport with the 3.6 V6 and 6 speed combo. Though the Equinox did get redesigned for 2010 with a much better interior.

The interior on the Sport is much better than the base models, to be sure. I don't mind it all that much, although I do think the new Equinox looks pretty sweet and has a much better cockpit/dash area. With the '09 and older models, I almost feel like GM just didn't know what to put between the seats, so they put in some crazy armrest/floor console thing with 3  cupholders.

My mom has a 2006 Equinox with the POS 3.4 V6. The only thing I really like about it is that the rear seats slide back and forward giving us either sick legroom or more cargo space. The suspension is too floaty and the interior is cheap.
