damn, I'd be a happy camper if my car made those kind of torque #'s hahah. how is it autoxing in that thing?

The flat torque curve gives an amazing feeling on acceleration. It's my first roots-based supercharge vehicle, its just so much fun. lol.

AutoX'ing it is quite the adventure. Curb weight with me is about 4500lbs, lol. I've done extensive work on the brakes and suspension - its lowered another 2" from stock, I sit about 4" off the ground. Roush racing suspension (which killed my payload/tow, I can only put about 300lbs in the bed), 12-way adjustable shocks all 4 corners, pan hard bar, ladder bars, brembo 14" brakes, hotchkis swaybars, I've run R-compound tires, but also use some Pirelli's (system asymetrico) 295/45R18 or 285/45R18 on all four...

I've also taken it on the big track, it does great there, just wish I could get a roll cage in it easier, but everything needs to go through the glass to the bed:

So I take it you've been to JDM's shop? I'm about 5 minutes away so I go there quite often...they have some amazing Saleen's there. :apple:

Yep! I'm up north, about 45-60m or so away, but I know Jim and crew from Lightning events and hanging around Englishtown stuff. I don't drag much, preferred track racing... If you click the video button you'll see my truck on Jim's dyno as he tunes the ECU. You have a Ford? I hang out with the CJMF crew as well.

What? Good god, why would someone want to key your GTR :( It's a thing of beauty.

I had a S281 3V. Jim's a great guy...he'd spend hours talking to me on mods for the car. Now I've got a 335i, hence my 1addicts question...though I am more E90post myself ;)

I went through the light that was green and this kid stepped out looking down the road for the bus and I was veering over to turn into a gas station and I almost hit him. When I went in to get a drink I started talking to the clerk when I got home I walked around the side of the car to go inside I turned around and there were a bunch of scratches.

Jealous bastards. Someone keyed the bonnet of my S5 a few weeks ago while I was parked at ASDA. It was a deep scratch from one side to the other, so it had to be re-sprayed.

We live in such a messed up world.

Understatement of the century. Sad times, indeed.

If I saw an S5 or GTR I'd want to lick it before keying it. If I ever put a scratch on someone else's car, I think I might have to kick my own ass.

A guy down the street from me drives a Viper here in Northern Ireland. Must be extremely inconvenient as it's left hand drive...

I had a lhd golf g60 years ago and once you get used to it, it's not too bad, just avoid mcdonalds drive thru & multi story car parks

Says more about ASDA than your car, haha.

Picked this up a few weeks ago as my first car :)

It's a 2004.5 Jetta GLI with ~40k miles.

1.8T
6-speed manual
BBS wheels
Recaro Seats
Etc...

Mods so far include removing the "Bora" lettering, and adding an apple sticker :)
