A friend is selling his, and offering it to me first. Still deciding...

Buy it!!! I love my Prelude but once it dies, I'll be purchasing a E46 M3.

Slow, but i love it :)

Love the Mugen look! Got any more photos of your ride? I was contemplating on getting the full Mugen lip kit for my 97 Prelude but it was near impossible getting authentic Mugen parts so I went with the OEM lip kit but that didn't stop me from getting some JDM parts for the interior and engine bay of the car

Deciding? There is no deciding about an E92 M3
Decided to pass, as I really need a DD for the winter season here in the East Coast. I already have a RWD weekend car, so I couldn't justify getting it. On the other hand I picked up an 2010 Altima Coupe 3.5SR, and I absolutely love it. Decided to drive out to a friend's house and snap some quick shots.

The 2010 Altima is a great car. Did you buy it or are you leasing it? If I can get a good price on the lease, we are going to get one soon.

Nice color, too!

People lease for various reasons. We own the cars we have now, but we want to trade one in and possibly lease a new one.
But you're absolutely right. It's that individuals choice, and not yours.

I really never understand why people lease....then again, its your choice and not mine.

I like to own the stuff I pay for.
Leasing isn't for everybody but for some it makes a lot of sense, especially if you like having a new car every three years and always want your car under warranty. Cars are depreciating assets anyway, so there's no real value in keeping them longer if you don't want to.

That's pretty much exactly it.

Purchased yesterday for £14,700..
Picked up this morning so no pictures in my possession..
My baby, VW Golf R32 2.4Litre.

Mk2 Golf GTi 2.0Litre.

Ummm... the R32 is a 3.2liter narrow angle V6 motor with 250HP, not a 2.4liter motor. I don't even think VW or Audi has a 2.4 liter transverse motor in production.

Was thinking the same thing...

Thanks! I financed the car and received the rebate as well as the 0% financing they are offering right now for the Red Tent Event. I'm not sure what the current offers are for lease vehicles, so you should check with your local dealerships. I know that Nissan is offering very little incentives right now on the coupe, and especially on the 3.5SR because theres not many out there. I got lucky and literally drove mine off the truck :D

I also thought that just after I posted. They only 2.4 they've done is an old diesel.

Checkin' out the skidpad!

This is from last year as I tested the driving course just before taking on a student for Street Survival School (at Gateway International Raceway). My student came with a E39 M5. We had a good session. He left planning to sign up for the club high performance driving school.

2009 Suzuki SX4 Touring. I really like it and we got it for a steal (compared to other hatchbacks).

Took a trip to Shawnee National Forest and here is one I snapped of the car.

I was going to get an M3 but glad I got the GTR R35. Nice and clean just the way I like. Only mod that I have done is a straight midpipe but looking forward to a few more. :p BTW I detail my own cars and that's why its so shiny.

Just don't use it for what it is designed for or your warranty will be voided with possible transmission explosion. :p

Now seriously, cool car. I like the new GT-R. Monster performance for an incredible bang for the buck. I still want to know how they have a 3800 lb. pig with only 490 HP perform so well. It can't just be the AWD system.....

Overall, I would grab a Z06 or ZR1 instead of the GT-R. Too many computer nannies getting you that performance for me.

Hi 2high2aim, your car looks enviably great, you must be very happy with it. Super finish!

I was wondering if I could be so cheeky as to ask your advice. I've just got a new (to me) car, it's 2 1/2 years old. It's in a pretty great condition, but I just want to give it that extra shine (similar to yours).

I've been trying to do research online (as to how best to polish/wax it), and am actually a bit more confused now than before! (i.e. do I use wax then polish or one or the other, and how do I use them).

Do you have any tips for getting a good shine? If so, they'd be much appreciated.

Macperegrine

P.S. Apologies for not posting pics of my car. If 2high2aim or anyone else could give me some good tips, I'll definitely post some before/after shots.

There is maintenance to consider. BMW's aren't cheap, especially M's.

I know this. I have an E46.

I would be hesitant to get an M3 right now, until I know for sure whether an M version of the 1 series is coming. The M1, or even a 135is, will very possibly be my next car.

Meh.

Decided to pass, as I really need a DD for the winter season here in the East Coast.

Yeah, cant say I would own an M3 and DD it in the winter up north.
