I do not think the m1 will be anything like the 1. Because the m1 was a dream car produced that reached super car status. According to the number line up for BMW the 1 series is the economical choice but as it goes up in number (usu.) price does as well. So producing a m1 would mean that the newer version will be similar to the M3 but lighter but when compared to the older M1 it should be the leading flagship car so I am a little confused with the M badging. I am no die hard BMW follower but I do have love their creations. My cousin has a BMW 3 and his boss has a all out track E46 M3 with roll cage and custom turbo system which lead got my cousin into racing.
