It is a manual. If it were SMG, that blank area right under the tach would show current gear, mode, etc.
Of course. I didn't pay close enough attention.

I had a '05 Carbon Black/Cinnamon SMG. The shifts were awesomely wicked fast and silky smooth at the track. Damn I miss that car.

Who would've thought...

Speaking proper english and using proper grammar is part of being an intelligent human being. Words like "cuz, dat, dis, fo, lyfe" aren't real words. You lose credibility when you use them because it implies a lack of education. I am not saying you are stupid, but I am saying you are too lazy to type out full sentences.

PS. The only reason I am picking on you is because only douche bags make statements calling others with nice things and possibly different taste douche bags.

I understand what you're getting at, but it's a forum for getting help and sharing ideas. It's not like I'm doing a lab write-up for orgo or trying to publish a research paper.

P.S. I didn't call him a douche bag. I just used the "term" that is used to describe that kind of truck. Google "douche truck" and you will see what I mean and why I used it.

Really like those Subaru wagons. Great cars, run forever.
I considered one when I was planning on a new car tad over a year ago, went with an Xterra w/ grill guard and the toys instead.

It really is a nice car. I like the wagon body style a LOT better on the newer Outbacks, hence why I wouldn't mind updating in a couple of years. ^_^

Looks great!

If you use a carnuba based wax, it needs to be applied every few weeks to really protect. I prefer a polymer-based products. They last a lot longer and provide better paint protection. I use Zaino, but there are others that are good too.

I used Meguiar's Tech Wax 2.0, which I believe is polymer-based. I was recommended to get a liquid wax, and had read that Meguiar's are some of the better products around. I also got their Plast X for the one headlight, which was a bit foggy. Both products worked wonders! The Plast X also gave a nice shine to the tail-lights and reflective tail trim that dominates most of the back of this car... really breathed new life into the exterior of an already great looking vehicle. Spent 20$ between the two products.

I've owned and leased 6 Subaru's since 96' This is my latest Outback, an 07'. I'm due for a new one soon.

Did you get aftermarket tinting on the windows? Or does Subaru just tint more heavily now? My wagon is really bright on the inside. All the windows are pretty clear/light.
