So yeah, people are still a bit jumpy. haha
Hater :p
Oh ok I deleted them, I thought others would want to look at nice cars, I would if other people put them up.

Deleted them anyways
It isn't that we don't like looking at nice cars. It's just that if we open that can of worms, the thread loses its individuality. We all like nice cars, but this thread is just for your own personal car (theoretically, lol).

Nice looking A4, though. I didn't know they made a DTM edition. I like the subtle body changes on it. Should be a fun car.

Yeah I'll avoid posting cars that I don't actually drive on a reoccurring basis.

Yeah it is really subtle, not many people pick up the changes. Just means people who notice are genuine car enthusiasts.

Awesome to drive fast but below 2000 rpm car gets a little moody. Doesn't like the city streets much

Please don't drive faster than the posted speed ;) (Not that you do, but I generally cringe when someone says "drive fast." Leave that to the track or Autobahn:D)

Just caught onto another older thread from some kid posting he hit 100mp+ on a residential street. Funny enough, some forum member in the US called the appropriate Canadian police and he now has had his license suspended, as well as community service:eek:

+1 for community action taking a dangerous driver off the road :p

I'd kill for the DTM A4 though....hope I didn't kill my keyboard backlight with my drool. Can't get the best Audi's in the US, so so sad.

So, not only do you "own" a new Camaro AND a new ZR1, but you are also thinking about buying a Challenger SRT-8?? Dang, I totally picked the wrong profession. RNs make bank, apparently.

A gentle reminder to all, this is the "Post pictures of your car" thread. Posting pictures of cars that are not yours, do not count. Feel free to say that a car is someone elses, in all honesty I doubt we care how often you drive it in or sit in it and get driven to the cinema by Dad, this is an 'interest' thread and there are no prizes.

2001 Suzuki Vitara with a little over 135k miles on it.

Extra maintenance in the last 2 years:
-Radiator
-Cooling hoses (lower, upper, and heater)
-Thermostat
-Belts (all)
-Crankshaft pulley
-Washer fluid lines
-Washer fluid nozzles
-Tail pipe (weld broke completely had to cutoff and replace)

All of the above maintenance combined has cost about $1,070. Fine for now, but looking to buy a Suzuki SX4 with AWD sometime in the next 2 years for the snow (my Vitara is only 2WD).

Oh snap!

I was biting my tongue, but even if an RN made $100k, which in my experience they generally don't, I don't think for a second that any bank would give you financing for upwards $140k--$150k in vehicles.

Maybe not there, but they certainly will here.

It's a long one, so get comfy ;)

Somewhere last year, I bought a Studio Display for $50, and pretty much kept it sitting around. A while later, i bought a Canon rebel for $35, and didnt use it too much.

This year, I bought a dead iMac G5 for the aforementioned $20, and decided to sell it rather than fix it (bad capacitors, btw). I let it go for $90. Shortly before, I traded the monitor for a 500MHz iBook, and then traded that for a GPS.

With the $90, I added $10 and bought a 15" PowerBook G4 that needed some TLC. After fixing it up, I sold that for $300. My original intention was to buy a new car at that point and stop.

So, with the $300, an additional $100, the GPS and the Canon, I obtained a 1990 Acura Integra coupe. My mom couldn't stand the two-door, so I sold it a few days later for $1000. By now I was pretty surprised.

But color me shocked when I bought a 2001 Prius the same day for that money. It was gonna need a new hybrid battery soon, but it ran. Although a little while later I realized it wouldn't be too up to daily use because of the work needed. I posted an ad again a couple of days later. This time I sold it for $2000.

Now that same day again, I see a 1999 Galant for $1850. My mom talks the seller down to $1700, and we drove home that night in it, and that's the car in the pic.

That story still surprises me.

LOL Thanks :) The thing is that I had never owned (or could afford) a car newer than 1992. I guess I entered into a mindset where I would purchase the newest decent car I saw. Because really, you can't even find a 2001 Echo for 1k!
Now mind you, the Prius is an extremely well-made car, albeit slow, though I wouldn't mind having one again.

SICK!!!! (was) is that a twin turbo model? I have always loved the 300Zx's. If only they were awd they would be the most fun winter car along with the Subie SVX and 3000Gt VR-4

Thanks man.. I'm currently in the middle of doing a TT swap, hence why I'm standing in the engine bay hahaha.

I guess I'll bite! Here's my car...

Very cool to see another owner. I have a 1990 Azure Blue (one out of 1245 or so). Got a new 30k miles JDM NA engine in it, the chrome Z wheels, and I just got new tint, still needs a repaint though. Still a pretty car even by todays standards!

Ahhh, I LOVE the Azure Blue Z's!!! It's such a nice color!!! I agree with you - for being a car from the early '90s, the Z32 still turns heads :D

Thats really awesome. be sure to post pics as you go!! and PowerGamerX, thats one pretty car!

It's been a long and grueling process, as I've never done any motor-work THIS extensive before - nor do have the right tools half of the time hahaha. I've been taking pictures for another forum I'm on.. I guess I can post some here as well! :D

HOW did I miss this?!?! BEAUTIFUL and clean Type-R, man!!! It's about this time last year that my buddy's yellow Type-R was stolen and stripped down to it's frame.. :(
