I've always liked the Roadster. Funky and pretty nifty.

How is your experience with it size wise?
It's rather low to the road.

My other "roadster" is the original Miata Monster - it was the first of about 90 put together by Monster Motorsports (Ford 5.0 V8) in the early 90's. Old Blue is the one that was featured in an Autoweek article and made the cover .......

Here's an old video clip - Old Blue makes a cameo; guess which one it is? :)

^^ I am envious of your red E30:eek: Mines an Alpine white, however I love the engine swap in mine :D

Thanks! Mine's a 318is, the engine is a little weak, but my brother has a 325ix. That thing's not afraid of anything, throw on some snow tires and you're pretty much never going to get stuck. :p I had new struts put in last spring and got some new tires, this thing handles like it's on tracks.

Remember kiddies, never lend your rare sports car to your friend who has only driven a Geo Metro. EVER. FOR ANY REASON.

Good news is that the car has made a near full recovery, the ABS light is on though and I want to say it's a dirty sensor causing it. But I removed the seat and the cover over it, so the seat and the carpet are making a flawless recovery :)

Poor svx...:(

It's making a full recovery as we speak, sitting in a garage with the affected seats removed, as are the carpets and door panels, with many space heaters pointed in their direction. Don't worry about fires though, they're not close enough to start one, just enough to keep them warm and able to dry.

What size TRM C1s are those? If I want free slicks, the 15x7 is the way to go, however Id much prefer 15x8s...but still cant find a good pic of clearance.... Rolled fenders if 15x8s is my understanding.... To me it looks like you have 15x7s due to what I can see of your offset?

As much as I adore BMW's... The inside of that M5 is burning my retinas.

The upholstery is probably aftermarket. ALL US-spec E28 M5's were black with tan leather interiors. Canada also got a black option, a few examples of which have made it into the US.

The wheels on the white E30 are 15x7 up front and 15x8 in the rear. Rolled rear lips, and no rubbing whatsoever. Tires are Yokohama ES110 (ES must mean extra slippery since the grip is terrible).

The interior of my E28M5 is completely redone... Black leather on all doors, dash and center console, etc. just like from the factory. The cloth was ordered from the local BMW dealer who had to have it special ordered from Germany. The car was the typical black/tan when I got it, and after 20 years the "Natur" color leather was starting to look a bit rancid... and I have always loved pics of the euro cars with black.

The M-Tech cloth on the seats raises a lot of VERY polarized opinions... nobody kind of likes it, they either love it or hate it! But I wanted period correct, and it does that job well.

Thanks! I wouldn't go staggered though.

Personally I quite enjoy the period-correct M-Tech cloth. However I prefer leather or alacantra over cloth...

Some people just can't handle power mode . Very very very glad to hear the car is ok. :D
