Has anyone tried the Hyundai i20? Looks like the best car in their lineup.
We don't have any of their new "i" series cars here in the States, which is a shame, because some of them look like very nice daily drivers. The one I'm quite liking the look of is the new Veloster. It is quirky and slick looking.

Ditched my old S2K seats and installed DC5-R seats. Hand picked, straight from Japan!
Good choice. The S2K seats looked nice, but a little out of place. Those Integra ones are a much better fit. Excellent pics, as well.

Nice! That is a mighty fine interior! How does the little sitting man in the middle of the console work? What does he control?

Thanks! The sitting figure controls airflow towards the feet, body, or both by pressing it. Interesting design choice but functional non the less.

Mine is the red one hiding behind the SRT6 Crossfire.

There are some really great cars here but man, some of you need to relax a little. Badge, no badge who cares, but the childish insults read more like a lack of maturity...

Wow okay, all I meant was that I didn't like how the car looked without the badge. I mean, you only posted it here because you wanted people to tell you what they thought, right?

I'm glad it's custom and rare and all the rest, because I'm pretty sure you have to have deep pockets to afford to drive a 1.4 litre car that only gets 26 (imp) MPG :(

Well I think you'll have to reevaluate the Rotary engine then because last time I checked, the rotary was more efficient than its piston counterpart. A 1.3L rotary engine is equivalent to a 2.6L piston engine. Sure it isn't as fuel efficient, but it does make the same power with half the displacement.

hey, those belong in my car :p (I'll trade you my stock ones haha)

hehe. Nope! Never! Go to Japan and purchase a Type R or just the seats :p
I have the OEM DC5 sliders and bracket that bolts into Recaros so if you ever need them let me know before I throw them away.

This whole rotary v. piston debate I always thought was a little pointless with the rx8...honestly, it needs a turbo. However if you asked me it needs a V8. In fact, think of any car, then imagine it with a rwd v8 powertrain. Did that just make the car better? Yeah, it did. V8 Miata? Rwd V8 Mazda6? Hell, rwd V8 New Ford Taurus? I firmly believe Pontiac would still exist if all their cars were rwd and V8 based. Solstice? Shoulda had a V8. VW golf? Needs a V8. Prius? V8.

I defy you to think of any car on earth that wouldn't be better with a rwd V8. A smaller engine is more fuel efficient you say? The bible doesn't say anything about fuel efficiency, I say, we ignore the problem until global warfare breaks out, and deal with it then. Or, how about a RWD V8 twin turbo diesel? Still a V8.

The E46 M3 disagrees with you.

I'm really impressed with Hyundai as of late. They have made a nice improvement lately. Good choice, nice color as well.

Yep, that's an awesome Sonata. Hyundai has improved their quality, not just recently, but quite a number of years ago. I have an '02 Hyundai Elantra GT and it's still almost just like a brand new car with almost 96k on it. When you shut the door, it sounds just about as good as a Mercedes. Have had minimal issues with it. The only issues right now are a wonky gas gauge and a water leak in the spare tire well under the hatch, both of which are minimal problems. Besides that, it's been smooth sailing. I don't drive much at all and I have let it sit for over a month at a time and it still started right up. Great quality vehicles and an amazing value. I'd recommend Hyundai and Kia any day.

If it had a V8 it wouldn't handle nearly as well. One of the great things about the rotary engine is that it's small and light weight. There are plenty of cars that wouldn't benefit at all from a V8. Just look at that Boxster S posted a page ago. That said, a prius with a v8 would be hilariously awesome...
