2006 chevy aveo. Bought it brand new in '06. Its been awesome.

1990 Ford Mustang GT Two tone titanium with porno red interior. 47,*** miles. 5 lugged. Couple of rough spots but not bad for a 22 year old car. Its 2 and a half years older than me  but ive had a thing for these cars for ever as this is my 4th mustang. aside from my other daily drivers.

Picked this up yesterday to replace my crashed Elise. Boxsters have got so cheap I was able to buy this, insure it for a year and have plenty of cash left over to fix a couple of niggles for the money I got from the Elise write-off!

Year 2000 Porsche Boxster S with 18" Turbo Twist alloys and the later spec clear lights all round.

The cool thing about buying a Porsche is that even in an old, basic model it can look like you are driving around in a brand new, top model car. They all look the same!

Maserati Granturismo, 2007 model, bought 2nd hand in 2010.

How's the reliability? I understand it's an Italian car but the depreciation makes it something I could get for the price of a higher end 3 series in a few years. Don't believe me? Go check what a 3-4 year old Maserati Quattroporte goes for on autotrader?

Also: Props, it's a gorgeous car, the convertible version is like a rolling orgasm. Only car I'd pick over an Aston ever.

Edit: Yeah, I'd pick an out of warranty Maserati over a brand new 335 any day of the week.

Bought it monday.

2011 Hyundai Santa Fe had 11 miles on it when we bought it

Gotta love Maserati if only for the huge name.

* Does the whole Jeremy clarkson impersonation bit with the deep voice*

Hi.. I drive a Maserati.

(It was really a joke on the Audi TT, speaking of which, the original was a hot little car.. the new one? Ehh). I'm a sucker for cars where the side windows line up with the front and back (eg, old TT, new S5, I think the Charger still has it although Ralph Gilles ruined the 300 :()

I dunno why they make the side windows lower than the front/back all the time on new cars but I hate it. I think it's so that the side mirrors can be below the sight line you get when you make a left turn.

Please let us know how you like it! I adore the Elise and Boxster, so it'll be interesting to hear a comparison!

I haven't driven it much yet (cars are toys for me, not daily transport) but so far:

Good Things:
The engine sounds completely amazing compared with the 4 cylinder Elise
It's fast enough: it feels about as fast as the Elise if not a little faster
It's comfortable. Something it would be difficult to argue the Elise was. I'm not sure the seats are quite as supportive as the Elise one though.

Bad Things:
The plastic rear window in the roof is rubbish. The whole roof is being replaced tomorrow with one with a glass rear screen
It doesn't feel as special as the Elise. Driving it is much more like driving a normal car. The Elise felt like nothing else.

Sick looking car! How much was it if You don't mind me asking.

actually that's what i always liked about the 'normal' Porsche sportcars (not the gt2 turbo etc.): they don't overdo the 'sport' part and actually are quite capable as daily drivers in normal traffic
and their reliability is actually quite good

edit: also forgot the congratulations after that downer that was the Elise crash

for those of you going: that doesn't look like any accord I've seen.

One should note that it is a euro spec accord, which is the same as an Acura TSX.

Your location should read 1.8 miles from the Westfield Montgomery Apple Store :p And that store always smells funny for some reason.

Have now a 2011 GTI, Autobahn after I traded in the truck which I only had for 3-4 months due to gas and just huge. Before that had the TL-S and a 350Z.

Why'd you ditch the TL-S? Those are sweet. :p

I liked it a lot and wanted to keep it. But after a trip to Nashville, the car had a vibration issue at highway speeds that was pretty bad. I had the tires rebalanced several times by Discount and the dealer. Dealer said we don't know what the problem is and gave up. I was pissed and got rid of the car because no one could seem to fix the issue. :(
